Slow and steady may just save you from burning or running out gas quickly, while still moving you forward. The most important thing is to keep walking forward, no matter how slowly. As a personal trainer I’ve witness clients that have an attitude of defeat or wanting to give up when results aren’t coming quick enough. Sometimes slowness can be frustrating. You might become impatient; you might get discouraged with a setback. But a setback doesn’t have to set you back. Simply using it as a learning opportunity can leapfrog you ahead again. From now on, try paying attention more to your direction and less to your speed. Be patient, focus on a little bit at a time, and soon enough, you’ll be further than you ever thought. Besides, it’s a good bet that by always looking forward, you`ll rarely look back in regret. Keep looking forward. You can’t change things from the past but you can always learn, grow wise, be aware and try not to repeat the same mistakes.
