As a Fitness Coach in Toronto, I’ve seen workout fads come and go, each claiming to be the next ultimate solution to all fitness problems. Of course, none actually live up to their claims. I’ve found that the real way to get results is obviously by watching what you eat and the four factors mentioned below:
- Cardio: Cardio is the component of a workout that helps to burn fat which will help you look leaner. There are plenty of different ways to do cardio now a days. You can do the conventional treadmill,elliptical, row machine, bike or a take new trendy Zumba or kickboxing class.
- Strength Training: Strength training helps you improve your strength,posture,strengthen bone structure and muscle tone. Strength training enables you to build more muscle which will help to burn more fat.
- Flexibility: Stretching is an important component of any exercise regimen. It can prevent injury and maintain range of motion, especially if you’re trying to build some muscle. Stretching is a great way to stay relaxed and relieve sore muscle pain.
- Fun: This is perhaps the most important component of a workout. I’ve seen time and time that people who are bored with their workouts lack the drive they need to stay fit. Choose workouts that you enjoy doing. Step out of your comfort zone and try a fun fitness class or hire a skilled fitness coach.
There is no magic pill or formula to achieving your fitness goals. Its almost impossible to see results without being consistent.
