Why did you decide to enter the 8 Week New years Challenge?
I decided to enter the 8 Week New Year Challenge because I am afraid of my trainer! (lol-kidding). Truthfully, I wasn’t sure at first about entering. I’m not an overly competitive person but then I realized that this challenge was a good way to keep me focussed on my overall fitness goals. It’s nice to know that you are being supported by others and are being held accountable! Come on blue team!
What is the most important aspect that has helped you achieve your fitness goals thus far?
ATTITUDE! My own personal attitude ,as well as, choosing to be around people who have positive ones. I use to see really fit people and think ‘well, they just have good genes’. Through working out with Mike, it’s become very apparent that it’s not genes at all, but hard work, dedication and attitude that will help you achieve your goals. Mike is an amazing example/role model of positive attitude. In the time that I’ve known him I have never heard a negative comment from him, either about himself or the people in his life. He’s demonstrated that if you believe you can do it-then you can!
He’s changed the way I eat, drink, sleep and exercise but most importantly, he’s changed the way I think!
